Say I start with a initial 500 and play relatively safe bets for the 1st two weeks and get my roll to 2000. Should I then up my ante to say quarter bets, or nickels? How much has anyone cleaned out in a weekend?>

What are you, an IRS agent?

Some gamblers like Blue lose all the time. I know some that constantly win. Expect 55% winners as a good season.

as long as you have a big enough bank-roll to chase your losses the sky's the limit.

To really win big put the whole $500 on a relatively safe bet the first week and keep betting your whole bankroll on relatively safe bets.

Once you are over $30,000 you'll need a second book to get your relatively safe bet down.

If you double your bankroll every week you'll have about $32 million at the end of the season. Good luck.

WB04, the boys are trying to tell you that you've got something stamped on your forehead. If you look in the mirror, it will look thusly: REKCUS

Except the letters will look backward.

bet no more than 2% per game, unless you are way up and in the playoffs when teams give all.

reconfigure bankroll after a gain of 15-20%, and after losses of more than 15%.

some people reconfigure on an arbitrary same day of each month, but I find no reasoning behind that. The first two have defininte reasoning, and the exact reasoning gets long and complicated. I think there are quite a few posts to read on this subject, if you do a search.

one other thing....

guys that had great seasons one year USUALLY TANK the next, be careful of coin-flippers that landed heads a lot last year.

ATX:

I was beginning to wonder if you were going to show up for the NFL season to make your usual rounds.

Plenty of money to be made in bases this time of year so get your ass over to that forum.

I never stray too far, after a whirlwind 5 year non-stop run, I needed to take those 80 hour weeks off my appearance/health, and have some fun. I've been playing nflx, posting elsewhere, and 2h's are good, full games (all dogs) have not been. I remember your strategy for late season bases from last year, and I plan on crushing playoffs again. I have to move around a lot, and I get bored easy, but I love coming back here to stir up some trouble and prove olddog wrong. I'll send you an email soon.
